Headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CDI has established a strong national footprint with multiple clients across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. CDI currently services over 90% of the private diagnostic imaging market in Winnipeg, offering a full range of high-quality imaging systems including: 

- Floor‑mounted digital radiography systems 

- Ceiling‑mounted configurations 

- U‑arm imaging solutions 

Our recent expansion into veterinary imaging has been significant. In 2025, CDI became the first—and remains the only—company in Manitoba to install a full‑ring gantry CT system capable of true full‑body imaging for veterinary applications. A highly successful project which will now be brought across multiple regions.

To meet the growing demand for cost‑flexible medical imaging equipment, we have launched a Pay‑Per‑Use Program. Under this model, the equipment will be installed and set up at no capital cost to the client. The company facilitates all financing and maintenance expenses through the duration of the contract, while clients pay a set percentage of study fees for our services. This program has shown great results within the medical sector and is something we are now expanding into the veterinary market. 

CDI operates a dedicated manufacturing facility in Grunthal, Manitoba, where we produce: 

- Replacement parts 

- Portable imaging carts 

- Custom‑engineered units designed for unique clinical environments 

This in‑house capability enables rapid turnaround, tailored solutions, and reduced equipment downtime.
